A New Chapter: Leading with Purpose at Ridgemere Assisted Living
Sometimes the next chapter in your professional journey isn't a departure from everything you've done before. It's an opportunity to bring it all together.
I'm excited to share that I've accepted the position of Executive Director at Ridgemere Assisted Living in Conway, Arkansas.
This opportunity represents an exciting next step in a career that has been shaped by a consistent passion: helping people navigate life's transitions while preserving dignity, independence, connection, and quality of life.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working at the intersection of mental health, relationships, business leadership, and aging. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, I've spent years helping individuals and families navigate difficult seasons, changing family dynamics, and the emotional complexities that often accompany aging. As a business owner and entrepreneur, I've also developed an appreciation for the leadership, systems, people, and strategic decisions required to build and sustain successful organizations.
More recently, pursuing my Licensed Nursing Home Administrator credentials opened another door—one that allowed me to bring those experiences into the broader world of senior care and community leadership.
And now, those paths are coming together at Ridgemere.

More Than a Place to Live
Senior living is about so much more than providing housing or coordinating services. It's about creating an environment where people feel known, valued, safe, and connected.
For residents, a move into assisted living can represent a significant life transition. For families, it can bring relief, uncertainty, difficult decisions, and sometimes a complicated mix of emotions. For the employees who serve residents every day, it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference through the smallest interactions and the most important moments.
I believe great senior living leadership recognizes all three perspectives.
My background in counseling has taught me that relationships matter, communication matters, and understanding the person behind the circumstances changes everything. My experience in business and organizational leadership has reinforced that meaningful outcomes also require strong operations, thoughtful decision-making, accountability, and a team working toward a shared purpose.
I want to bring those perspectives together.
Leadership with People at the Center
I'm especially excited about the opportunity to lead a community where resident experience, employee engagement, family relationships, and operational excellence all matter.
I believe strong communities are built by investing in people. That means supporting employees, developing leaders, listening to residents and families, and creating a culture where people understand that their contributions matter.
It also means recognizing that quality of care and quality of life are not competing priorities. They should work together.
There is a tremendous opportunity in senior living to rethink how we approach aging, how we support families, and how we create communities where people can continue to experience purpose, belonging, and meaningful relationships.
I'm looking forward to being part of that work.
Looking Ahead
I'm grateful for the experiences, relationships, challenges, and opportunities that have shaped my professional journey to this point. Each has contributed something valuable to the leader I am continuing to become.
I'm also excited to learn, grow, build relationships, and work alongside the team at Ridgemere Assisted Living.
I don't believe leadership is about having all the answers when you walk through the door. It's about asking the right questions, listening carefully, being willing to learn, making thoughtful decisions, and consistently showing up for the people who depend on you.
This is an exciting new chapter, and I'm looking forward to what we can accomplish together.
Here's to new opportunities, meaningful relationships, and making a difference in the lives of the people we serve.
